Discovering our American Roots

Friends come and go, but relatives tend to accumulate.

Welcome to our Family History website.

I started my family history quest by talking to my maternal grandmother. She was born in Helena Arkansas in 1915. Her mother and baby brother died of the flu pandemic of 1918. Her father took her to Jasper County, Illinois where she was raised by her maternal grandmother. She eventually lost contact with her father, and wondered what happened to him. I began to share in her curiosity, and so began my journey into family history.
